        Saw they were not busy and ordered a simple sandwich. Waited 30 minutes listening to budget Bon Jovi before giving up on this cafe and my hopes and dreams. Find somewhere better, your food will never arrive.

        Slow service even during quiet times. They don't do pie & mash anymore even though it's still on their menus. With so many great places to eat in Southend, there is no reason to waste time here.

        One of the worst dining experiences of my life. Racist people outside the cafe, waited 2 and a half hours for a chicken Kiev. Insulted by the women working there, absolutely not on. Extremely inappropriate discussions taking place. The Kiev was definitely frozen and I was assured it was fresh. I dont usually leave bad reviews, but I dont expect to wait more than 45 minutes for a chicken Kiev.
