I went to the assessment centre 21/9/18. My appointment was for 1.45 but I was there early, it said to arrive 10 mins early in my letter but I was there long before that. I went up to the reception. I wasn't greeted by the man who was behind the desk, he didn't smile. Not a good start. I greeted him and handed over my letter. He said something to me but I had to ask him to repeat everything he said because the radio was up so loud. He was walking away from me and I asked if I should sit down. Customer relations were rubbish. Another lady went up to the desk and when she said she couldn't hear him because she was deaf in one ear the music still wasn't turned down. The music should only be background noise, not so loud that that you leave with a headache because you have to wait so long for an appointment that you were asked to turn up early for. I was called in and asked how long I had been waiting for. It had been 45 minutes. "oh that's quite good", I was informed although an apology was made and the man I saw was very nice. I left 45 minutes later.

My mum and I have visited the assessment centre twice first time on Monday 13th March when we got there we were told that they were running late and the second time the same thing happened again we travelled from Billericay to Prittlewell and back again it cost my mum a lot of money to Prittlewell the first time we visited the assessment centre we got lost my mum had to ask directions we eventually found it when we went there on Tuesday 4th April we were told that they were running late again and we couldn't be seen until after lunch but my mum said we couldn't wait until then so the receptionist made me another appointment for Wednesday 26th April my mum was worn out with the walking to the assessment centre I hopefully will be seen next time
