Hockley Post Office

Always miserable and rude. No customer service skills whatsoever. I was once rudely told in front of a line of customers that I had filled in the wrong date from my ID on my DBS application. I went away, submitted a new online application to find out that I had actually put the correct date originally and it was her who was wrong. This caused a 2 week delay to my DBS resulting in my start date at work being pushed back. Obviously super inconvenient! Yes, we make mistakes but she actually humiliated me for nothing when it was her who was incompetent at her job. Totally unnecessary.

It's A shame the staff are so off all the time. When I go in I always feel like I'm putting them out. 18 months using the post office and not one of them has a conversation with me. They close early sometimes also. I now drive 2 Miles to use Hawkwell instead of walking 2 mins to Hockkey. Please get new happy staff.

Always a good experience using this post office. Staff are super nice and helpful. Never had any problems and service with a smile!

This much be the worst post office in area one member of staff in particular who serves. I took a parcel in yesterday to be posted I was told I could only do next day delivery and was the told the parcel was to small altho it was about 6 x 5 inches in size I couldn't believe my ears rude and ignorant I left with my parcel took it to one stop post office in hullbridge were they was very helpful and had no problems this should be investigated and training in how to deal with the public
