So Ive been training with Andy for 3 weeks now and he is absolutely amazing. At first I was so nervous to even go to the gym and every equipment confused me and looked scary. I had no real goal or plan but new I wanted to loose weight as I was not happy with the way I looked and lost all my confidence. Andy took me under his wing and gave me all new recipes to try and ingredients to help me. I changed my diet completely now tracking every thing I eat instead of being clueless what I was putting into my body. Any questions I had he would be there with such an amazing knowledge for his job. He is so professional, dedicated and supportive always checking how things are going and cares about your wellbeing. I would highly recommend Andy and also 3 weeks in Ive lost 2 inches from my waist, 5.5 inches from my hips and Ive dropped 4lbs off the scales and cant wait to see the next results. Thank you Andy :)

I have been using Andy Mee as a personal trainer for around 4 years now as his involvement in my training has been pivotal for 95% of my progression. So much so that I feel the need to bullet point the benefits of training with Andy. 1) Consistency Andy has kept me going to the gym on a regular schedule for the full 4 year period I have been with him. Even when my motivation / life got in the way of me training as frequently as I would like. That one session a week even if it was a full body session allowed me to maintain my strength to a certain degree, but better yet, it stopped me from quitting going to the gym entirely. Not only that, but that one session allowed me to speak to a professional about my current motivational / life concerns and overcome them where possible. To be honest, he acts like a councillor as well as a PT! 2) Nutritional Knowledge As I have been a regular gym-goer for around 7/8 years I believe I know 90% of the practical side of things to do with physical exercise. The constant nutritional information and knowledge that Andy has passed on to me on a weekly basis has been incredibly useful. Where before I was starving myself to cut down on weight (it works, but a very poor way to do it) I now eat more or less what I want, most of the time. He has taught me a great deal about moderation. It is inherently linked with enjoyment of life. You cannot expect to cut out everything you enjoy (food wise) and not feel down about it. One massive change I personally made with the help of Andy was eating out at restaurants without splurging out. So I will have a healthier option for starter and main so I can have the chocolate brownie for desert. This works the other way around too.. I now know I can have the Pizza or Pasta for main, so long as I have something like ice cream or fruit for desert. 3) Technical Knowledge (Getting the most of out of every session) Earlier I mentioned how I like to think I know about 90% of the practical side of things physically realted. Meaning there is rarely a gym exercise or weight activity I am not aware of. Andy has done something I would consider really unique to him. He has shown me the same exercises I already knew, but given me slight alterations and advise on how to perform said exercises. I genuinely cannot put into words how useful this has been, and I have countless examples of this in action. Ranging from keeping my elbows tucked during a chest press, not rolling my shoulders, keeping my body flat and my feet planted. Right the way through to controlling repetitions, but not excessively, otherwise it can become detrimental. I could write a list 5 A4 pages long on the variations and tips Andy has given me, but I will resist. The main point I am making from this is that although I know 90% of the exercises, Andy has ensured I have achieved 100% from every single one without fail. This has a correlative effect because them bits of information are the critical ones I needed for progression. 4) Genuine desire to see clients succeed This is one of the biggest points I would like to raise about Andy Mee. As I have been training with him over the years our conversation topics remain fairly consistent. I will leave out the majority of the details, but one area where I must point out is a genuine desire to help and support his clients. He will always let me know about one of his clients that achieved a milestone in their own unique gym / exercise journeys. He will also be genuinely excited for me if I were to tell him I had gained an extra rep on an exercise, or gone up a weight and maintained it. Even if it's a weight that he can't quite yet lift! (keep working pal, maybe someday you will be as athletic as me) 5) Progression Lastly, I would like to write down all the areas where Andy has helped me progress. But I am unfortunately out of characters. Thank you very much for all your caring and intuitive Information you have passed onto me. I will utilise and cherish it forever. Thanks again, Lewis
