Ilfracombe House Hotel

I was recommended to stay here as my rented apartment fell through and as I feel the cold very much, I came to Ilfracombe House for a long stay. I was there from early December 2022 until end of February 2023 when I left for Malaysia. It was like home from home. I had a large room, with a separate small kitchen and a huge bathroom. It was very warm and cosy and the staff treated me as if I was part of the family. Nothing was too much trouble. The site was excellent. It was close to the Cliffs, walking was a pleasure, close to town and my church which I placed before all others. Bertie, Drita and family are the nicest people you can ever meet at any hotel. I travel a great deal and stay at many hotels like Singapore, Kuala Lumpur, Hong Kong etc ,although the rooms are most up to date but you only get a robotic response. I would highly recommend this charming hotel to anyone who values a family atmosphere and great value for their money.

Nearby activities: Close to town centre Safety: Own keys, phone straight to reception and emergency services Walkability: 5 mins from beach and town centre. I use a stick to walk any distance and had no problems Food & drinks: Great breakfast included. Bar prices were reasonable. Noteworthy details: Staff were helpful and friendly
