I had to visit Southend A&E yesterday morning. The care and treatment received was our NHS at its finest. A big thank you to Ishaan, A&E doctor, Joanne, staff nurse and the blonde A&E Assistant whos undertaking a nursing apprenticeship. Im very grateful to you all and all our wonderful NHS staff.

Awful hospital. Couldnt find the department I needed as sign posts were terrible, no staff around to help and when I did find a staff member they had no clue where ENT was. Found our department late, tried to explain what happened, nurse was so rude to me because we was late, I was clearly upset because I was late and she was hostile and gobby, they agreed to still see us but the doctor didnt even look at my child properly when I had been waiting months for this appointment for an ongoing issue thats been going on for years. Doctor was rude and didnt listen to anything I said. My child is struggling to breathe at night and he told me this is normal.. shocked tbh. Awful experience and will never go back. Now Im going to have to wait even longer for another appointment at a different hospital as I will be getting a second opinion.
