James is a friendly, patient and very knowledgeable guitar teacher. My son has been having lessons for a couple of years and is working his way up the grades. James ensures that my son understands the theory behind what he is playing and is keen to improve his technical playing skills. My son looks forward to his lessons. I would recommend James.

James is a really nice guy and has a laid-back teaching style hes been teaching my 14 year old daughter for about 6 months now. My daughter is Autistic and hearing impaired and straight away James made her feel really relaxed. He is very patient, easy to work with and we both come away feeling uplifted. James is a highly knowledgeable and friendly guitar teacher. Whether you have never picked up a guitar before or have been playing for 10+ years, I would highly recommend speaking to James to start advancing your playing. James offers both in-person and Zoom lessons. He offers structured lessons via grades or help you work on specific parts of your playing - I have done a mixture of both.
