West Road Surgery

Apart from the telephone queue system which is just awful, especially when you feel ilI I find the surgery good. Receptionists are really helpful & polite and the Doctors are ok. Trying to see a Doctor is difficult but I have managed it. I think its just a case of too many patients & the surgery is constantly busy.

Me too...I know we all have the same disgraceful experience. I have just tried a new tack...and started to ring at 5.40pm....guess what ? Yep...6.30pm TO THE SECOND they cut me off. I'm an oap, no transport and cannot get a bus ...Still a fair old walk there....if I can get squeezed in if I can get there instantly...a taxi is the only way...expensive for an oap but no option. Then the wait for the cab is 12 minutes...I get there 5 minutes too late ! That wasn't today but it happened to me some time ago. I sobbed like a child...

I have a painful knee infection spent over an hour trying to to get through ringing and ringing in a queue. Only to be told to ring back later. I told the woman how do I do that I have to go to work all day. I said why don't you tell people on an answer phone message all the appointments are gone, at least then they wouldn't all be wasting their time. Simply not fit for purpose. Useless

This GP is a not funny joke. Getting appointment is a mission impossible. I called them 6 times today and nothing.

"You are being held in a queue, unfortunately all our receptionists are busy" Proceeds to auto hang up the phone every single time. Appalling.
