Paul Lasky Dog Training & Behaviour

Working with Paul these last few months have been a joy. He is friendly and helpful, and certainly understands dogs. When i look back at the issues i had with Xena, my black Lab mix dog, when i first got her it was quite daunting, however over a number of sessions Paul was able to break down all of her issues and behavioural traits, and recommend training in the form of small games to play with the her which helped her immensely. The training games he teaches are easy to follow and engage the dog, turns training into learning by play,. I would have no hesitation in recommending Paul to anyone who needs help with their fur baby.

I contacted Paul when we first got our puppy and havent looked back since. He is calm, patient and very knowledgeable and always answers any questions we have, even after our puppy training plan has been concluded. Im currently arranging to get Paul booked for a follow up session to iron out some more training needs. Highly recommended.

Paul has really helped our 9 year old Jack Russell with behavioural issues. He proved you can teach an old dog new tricks! Can fully recommend Paul.

I started to work with Paul in January 2022 to help my dog Ruby's reactiveness towards other dogs which was getting worse and worse. Paul came to meet us at my home and we first had a long chat about the situation and possible causes for Ruby's behaviour. I felt Paul really wanted to get to know Ruby (and my other dog Rex too) and he very quickly put me at easy and I was convinced of his experience and skills. After about an hour we took Ruby for a quick walk so Paul could see what she was like outside. Paul quickly came to a conclusion that Ruby's reactiveness was based on fear and uncertainly. We made a plan on what I should do on walks and how to help Ruby overcome her anxiety. About a month later we scheduled a walk with one of Paul's "assistant" dog and his owner and met at a nearby park. Since then we have met up with Paul 2 more times. With Paul's help and guidance Ruby has had a significant improvement in her behavior and is no longer as reactive as she used to be - all this in less than a year! Whilst Ruby's progress is ongoing, she has now become part of Paul's pool of assistant dogs to help other clients with reactive dogs. I couldn't recommend Paul highly enough. What he has done for Ruby is amazing and I know how to manage a anxious (and still occasionally reactive) dog successfully.
