St Georges Medical Practice

This surgery is so difficult to get through too and actually get an appointment can be quite a stressful experience. Been trying to get through for 2 days as require appointment asap and cannot even get through the phone. Tried again after the rush hour and got an appointment with the nurse so relieved and updated my comment :)

Still took 40 mins to answer the phone, when number 1 in the queue the whole time. Prescription request missed again and told takes 5 working days when website says 3. Incompetent.

Gone downhill recently. Cannot get an appointment if getting ill during the day, have to ring up next day! Cannot park in the carpark. After still not getting an appointment as not a medical emergency having to look at transferring to another doctor. Very disappointed.

I have just joined this practice after being disatisfied with the service of my previous Gp surgery. What a refreshing change ! The receptionists here are professional and friendly and go out of their way to be helpful. I was offered a health check with the nurse within a week of joining the practice who was just lovely and so caring ! Also very thorough . I had to see a Dr who was reassuring and provided me with the care that was needed. Both myself and my husband were really impressed by the standard of care provided by this practice . It just goes to show that with all the cuts Gp surgeries have had to endure it is still possible to provide an excellent service !
