I shop at my local Lidl where I live in Spain. It is busy but tills are always opened after there are three or more people queuing. On holiday in Hadleigh we visited this branch and chose a few items to buy but the queue was huge, stretching down the aisle with only one till open. The lady in front of me asked a nearby staff member if it would be possible to open another till, but she was quite surly and just said "no, not at the moment". So we abandoned our shopping and the queue, and walked out. Iceland across the road had friendly staff and we were quickly served.

Large car park and nice wide aisles in the shop. Prices are super low and staff are really helpful although they are difficult to find as it seems there aren't many of them and therefore they're always mega busy. They've got a fantastic bargain aisle which is great for a browse. I would recommend and especially based on their amazing prices Quick update, just returned to Lidl Hadleigh on Sunday at 1.30pm, very busy but still brilliant and there were still loads of parking spaces available. I probably should stop raving about this place as they'll become too busy!! Great prices and also got some limited date life items for 20p .
