Cookies and Cones Rayleigh

I loved cookies and cones in Rayleigh until recently. They have significant reduced their menu items but hadn't updated their boards so we spent the best part of 5 mins trying to find something they had available that we wanted. To put it in context, 6 menu items we asked for were not available. I also took away a brownie from their cake selection and, for the first time ever it was stale. Overall I want to go back and love it again as I was a regular customer but sadly this time I was disappointed.

Great waffle (although bigger than I expected) and strong coffee. Definitely hit the spot! They were short a few things when we popped in but were more than happy to list what they did have available and were very sweet and helpful.

Ive been consistently impressed with this place in the last three months or so. When I first started coming here, it wasnt great. The store was shut about as many days it was open, and the lady running it seemed to be way out of her depth (and was always scrolling through her phone to the point where I was waiting for her for five minutes before she acknowledged I was there to take me order.) Now, the quality has improved immensely. With the new manager/team lead (hes been there a good few months now) the service has improved, the amount of available options has improved, and hes always friendly and helpful.

My family and i had a fabulous time today at cookies and cones in Rayleigh. We came in for a 3 year olds birthday surprise and the gentleman was more than accommodating for us. He helped us move the table and we all had fabulous desserts. He was alone in the shop by the looks of it but he was confident and able to look after the shop and the customers at the same time. Our drinks and desserts where of the highest quality and our toppings were generously applied. Thankyou for looking after us today
