Absolute shambles, Ive been trying to get my son seen for the past 4 years, his original consultant saw him once, then covid came along and screwed everything up, the consultant retired and signed him off without even seeing him for an update, I then went back to my doctor who referred him again last year and was told there is a backlog so you will have to wait at least a year, Im still trying to get an appointment

I was really worried about this centre after reading reviews. After waiting 13months from referral to the start of testing, I was pleasantly surprised. The staff answered all my phonecalls, returned calls and emailed me when they said they would and where always compassionate. I believe the centre has changed management hands now and are dealing with a backlog from the previous management, which is a big task to take on. My daughter had her QB test and we left fully informed with supportive information and explained the next steps and access for school staff to email for additional supportive measures. We now await the diagnosis appointment but we do feel this process has been the most accessible and supportive, just for measure, we have been seeking support for our child in a different area for over 6 years waiting. Excellent service, compassionate, supportive and really knowledgable in how to best support our child.
