Terrible Service A Whole Police investigation came from A spar worker with red hair and piercings being verbally and physically abusive towards my sister over refilling a refillable drink and claimed we were thieves, I would rate it 0 stars but sadly thats not possible, do not go here.

Absolutely astonished. Worst experience of my trip to Southend. Went to buy some light alcohol and the Karen with the red hair and piercings told me she would need ID for me and my 14 year old daughter. Explained that its obviously not for her but for me and I could provide my ID but not my daughters as shes definitely not the one drinking. This rude woman then had the audacity to tell me I could be buying it for my daughter because she was holding the bottle. I corrected her and told her I was holding the bottle and asked her why I would buy my underage child alcohol? What is going on in Southend are locals getting their children drunk? Have I missed something?? Anyways apparently the both IDs being required is a local law even though 5 mins later I walked into Tesco and bought what I wanted without any problems. Judging from the other reviews on here, this woman needs to be retrained or given something else to do. Not an excellent representative for the business at all.

I would have give zero stars or less! Absolutely abusive, rude, and aggressive staff. The lady with black hair and face piercing at the till refuse to sell us a can of 0.4% alcohol drink because our foreign documents were not acceptable and she would except just British documents. We where near by as tourist in the area, and we would never expect a so racist treatment from a local just because not British. Pleas note, we all over 30 so the right to purchase alcohol was absolutely cover by the law, if she would have just had a look of one the various legal documents provided. The security, with a very aggressive tone and a no need to use forse asked us out let us feeling even more unwanted in this place. Is 2022, please, evolve!
