REC Church

Hi I've never been to REC, in fact I'm from Westcliff, but I just wanted to say how lucky Rayleigh's residents are to have a NON MEANS TESTED food bank! In some areas working poor get no help in emergencies, here in Southend Borough you need referrals and when you are hungry or have kids you do not want to go all over the place or beg for vouchers - you want to eat. Your website says God loves us all and turns none of us away, you clearly practise what you preach - I have emailed you to see if I can donate - during worse times in my life I once approached a food bank, I was turned away. Now life is so much better I'd like to help you a little bit :)

Im agnostic so have no link to this or any church but respect people who do. Ive attended a few of the film shows and thoroughly enjoyed it and its great to offer to the wider community without pressure or preaching. I found a warm welcome and a great setting with lots of refreshments & only a donation required, if one feels they want to. I would recommend it and its a community event to enjoy, so try and support it.

Very friendly church. We have been to the showings of children's films and my five year old really enjoys it. She is more than happy with the drinks, popcorn and sweets provided!!! Today we went along to the Sunday children's club, and again very friendly and made my daughter feel at home. They played games and also showed a short children's film (the film was Bible related, and age appropriate so had some dance moves! ). Well worth a visit.

Its my church but a great church really good community family feel. Great for kids and just an all round great place to be. You will enjoy your self here.
