Vegetarian options: incredible vegan selection that never disappoints!

It was a disappointing night out. The service was friendly but slow, which was surprising as it was not very busy. The food was mixed quality, the duck was over cooked and the cucumber etc was rationed. Whilst other dishes lacked seasoning. The placed was filled with loud young essex boys, who felt it was ok to loudly share intimate stories about partners and friends. The additional service charge was a last straw, we paid to be served that slowly! We wondered why the restaurant hadn't been busy, now we know. Not going back.

Good all inclusive menu for all diet requirement inc vegan menu, Service a little slow but very friendly. Only problem we had with atmosphere was the noise from other diners, don't know why they have to shout at someone sitting next to them but we could not hear each other. Good food all served hot and good size portion.

Having eaten in here a number of times and also ordered out from here, I can safely say it is two very different experiences, and I have no idea why. The food seems to arrive almost 45 minutes later than expected every time and is warm if we are lucky. It still tastes good, but that is besides the point. Ordering in is the complete opposite experience. Food is nice and hot, with incredibly quick service.

Ordered 4 dishes, and sadly all were not to the usual standard - the ribs were more fat than meat. The seaweed was covered in sugar and was inedible,. The chow mein had a burnt taste to it. The salt & pepper chicken wings were cold and over cooked. We'd previously ordered 3-4 times and there was never a problem, however when I called to complain about the order, I was only offered a 20% refund.. this didn't even cover the price of 1 of the dishes that had to be discarded. I explained this, but was told because we had received 5 discount (loyalty for accruing 100 points, 1 point for every 1 spent) they wouldn't offer anymore than 20%. Very poor customer service and a complete waste of 30 yesterday.
