        I hate to leave bad reviews however I am so glad my service and MOT plan is up with VW. After Having an MOT done last month I feel VW Southend is incompetent or exploiting it's customers. The service desk wanted to charge me 4000 for a new set of wheels for some minor distortion and 200 to repair a door hinge. After a second MOT via my local VW specialist it was found the car should have pass it's MOT as the wheel did not affect driveability. Most worrying was my brake pads have apparently reduced in wear over the year. From 65percent up to 25percent worn. Self repairing brake pads wow. In summary VW wanted to charge me 4000 for something I could get repaired for under 400. I know I drive a GTE but I don't have 4k in my back pocket. This whole experience has soured my view of the brand and after owing 4 VW I don't want to own anymore.
