Unfortunately i am having to write this review as the service i got from farm fresh was shocking to say the least ,I have given David Gilder every opportunity to do the right thing but to no avail .I first took my 1951 ford f100 to farm fresh in December 2017 at the time it was owned by Darren Smart who had an excellent reputation ,so i was very excited to get my truck done which entailed a total upgrade with Ls 3 engine and gear box and suspension and brakes all-round but leaving the patina of the truck,I received a phone call in May 2018 from David Gilder saying he had brought the company and he wanted to push my project forward .He Agreed to give me schedule of works and invoices for work done .To do this he would need payment to be able to order the parts from america and some to start the work on the truck,So i duly in good faith transfered 35,000 ,25.000 for parts ,IE :engine ,gearbox, suspension ,etc.10,000 for work shop labour.It was meant to be finished by the end of the year .After a lot of emails and phone calls from me and one visit .He moved the completion date to march 2019 .He did send me 3 photos(only ones i ever got) in January 2019 saying the truck had been started and the progress was fast and that it would be ready for march deadline ,just before it was meant to be finished i received an email asking for more money ,Alarm Bells started ringing ,Given that there was no sign of the 25,000 worth of parts that were meant to be in the truck ,(slow container boat),Finally after many months of silence ,I arranged to have the truck removed at the end of 2019 ,Bear in mind i had asked to have an independent inspection done to see how much work had been done ,Wouldn't allow it ,Then a solicitors letter (ignored).So After many emails.It is now April 2020 , I can only assume given the complete lack of communication and any form of refund or apology ,You could Blame it on Covid 19 but this has been going on for years .Happy for anyone who has had their project done but mine lies in a storage container in many pieces worth half of what i originally paid for it , unable to do any work as David Gilder Still owes me the 25,000 for parts that never materialised and the work that he did do from the 10,000 is Questionable.This is really Sad as all i really wanted was my truck done with out all this aggravation and a lot more aggravation to come i am sure .It shouldn't be this complicated building a truck,(Still no schedule of works).Please refund me so i can do what you were meant to do .Regards Stuart.Ps, Had to put one star rating as it wouldn't let me post it with minus 5!!!!! (Latest update )As you can see there has been no response from the owner regarding my review ,sign of a guilty man ,A review can be a useful tool or an expensive lesson ,In my Case expensive ,Don't always believe what you read .No Apology and no attempt to refund any money ,I will let you be the judge and jury on this one.
