Shorehouse Southend-on-sea

The place was tired, the grass was long, the paving was full of weed, the paint was peeling off the cracked window frames and there was a clear sign of bad management. On top of it all: the condiments were out in the sun, including mayonnaise with egg as ingredients - a definite reason for food poisoning. I will definitely not recommend this place.

I have been here a few times but my last experience was awful. Wasn't that busy, hardly any staff. We was seated after 15 mins the waited another 10 mins before the waitress took our drinks order and meanwhile we had a hungry child with us. Then about 15 mins later still no drinks so we walked out. A big difference from the last time we went in there. Very disappointed Vegetarian options: Very poor choices

I am 72 my boys and two of my grandchildren took me for a birthday meal we did get there a bit late but I myself would never go again to this place the food was cold we were there.for 3 hours and I have never seen a place so bad the table was not clean the food was cold and we had to wait a very long time to get anything you are told you can have a free bowl of salad when we ordered we never got our bowl for the salad I had fish and chips with peas it was cold and hard I did eat the fish inside but the rest not even a dog would eat we ordered a sweet 1 hour later we were still sitting there the children were fed up so we said forget the sweet our bill was 90 pound my two boys payed it between them never will we ever go to this place again my birthday was not worth the money we paid for Kid-friendliness: I would not say there do much for children as we had to youngsters with us
