Auction description of article was wrong. Spent massive amount of money and they did not pay my costs (flight and hotel). Other reviews also tell that, this is a no go for an auction house.

Object description was not accurate. When I pointed that out they responded unprofessionally in a snooty tone. Their arrogance is a piece of art in itself. I wish I could buy it.

Description of objects does not correspond to reality. I received a machine made thin synthetic carpet. May be made in China. The auction house had described the rug as a: Kashmiri Rug mixed silk material. It's completely unserious that an auction company can't make a correct assessment. Big warning! Stockholm 2022.10.31 I now received a response from Chalkwell Auctions, claiming that I received a full refund including the transportation costs, This is incorrect and a lie and obviously proves how dishonest this company is. I have neither received compensation for shipping costs nor customs fees (Sweden), which in total are significantly more than what this fake carpet cost. My recommendation to avoid this company remains, big warning because they are scammed.
