I first came to see Lorna for acupuncture near to two years ago with an inflamed and protruding collarbone, which was hindering me in many aspects of my life, most particularly my music. Over the two years Lorna has improved both the collarbone and many other aspects of my physical health. She works with a calm and dedicated attitude, constantly improving and deducing the unfortunate yet plentiful problems my body yields. I am most thankful to her.

Acupuncture for Neck Pain - When I first went to see Lorna, I was very sceptical as to how sticking pins in me could help my neck and shoulder pain. However, it became apparent that a lot of my problems were due to a combination of stress and my caesarean scar - which was nearly 20 years old. It only took two sessions for me to begin to notice the feeling coming back into the area around the scar. Being able to actually feel my lower abdominal muscles helped me to reconnect the top and bottom halves of my body, improving both my posture and balance. This, in turn, helped me to stand properly. Lorna also targeted the areas of the body which are most affected by stress, where I carried a lot of tension and the treatments have really helped. So, there you have it, acupuncture for neck pain and stress - not what I would have expected, but it definitely does work. Highly recommended!
