This place deserves minus 5 stars. Poor quality, dirty vans and the customer service is terrible. October 2022 I hired a Luton van to move house. When I went to collect the van, the one that was given to me was dirty inside, so they cleaned it but it was still very oily and greasy. I asked for another van. The second one they gave me was even worse, so they gave me a third one. This was also greasy and oily. I decided to go with the original van but then later realised it had a hole in the roof. Eventually they gave me one with no hole in the roof but it was still a bit grubby. I live about 8 minute drive from the van depot. When I got home we started to load things then we realised the van had a flat tyre - completely flat. I called them and they suggested I wait for breakdown service! I'm moving house I said! I told them I'm bringing the van back. When I arrived they drove me to a van that was literally 2 minutes from my house. This van worked and was relatively clean. I took it. We started to load. I left the hazard lights on for 30 minutes. When I came to start the engine the car wouldn't start. I called them and after about an hour the mechanic who was at the garage 2 minutes away came to fix it. The battery had died out. The worse of this is when it came to retuning the van I asked for a free extension on the time but they refused unless I was to pay for it. Their incompetence for giving me poor quality vehicles yet I must pay for the lost time as a result of their incompetence. When I took the van back the manager refused to give me extra time and said the battery died out because i left the hazard lights on. Another customer heard this going on so checked how long hazard lights can stay on before the battery dies - 4 hours. Despite this the manger said it was my fault and he won't give me extra time or reimburse me. Yes they are cheap but service is really poor and vehicles are in bad nick. I don't like to give my money to these type of people. I'll never use them again.

Van was perfect for what we needed it for & hire fee was good value for money. Staff was brilliant and will be returning highly recommend for short hire. Cheers guys.
