The Loft Converter

TLC undertook a 1930s hip to gable loft conversion for us, including a single large bedroom and en suite. The project was managed well from start to finish and they arrange everything from the planning drawings, building control, through to the build itself. Quality of workmanship was very high, well priced and good communication throughout. We're very happy and highly recommended!

TLC carried out a hip to gable loft conversion on my 1930's semi. The end result is excellent and the process and communication has been good. Only a couple of minor things to be sorted but theyre scheduled in and once done I'll be very happy with the end result. I'd definitely recommend if looking for a loft conversion.

We would highly recommend TLC. They did an excellent job of our loft conversion (Spring-Summer 2022) and the space created is exactly what we wanted and needed! Connor was very attentive throughout the whole process and his team on site were very hardworking and respectful. We were particularly impressed by Liam and his joinery skills. Communication is key and TLC were very good at dealing with any of our queries along the way. Thanks!

Form the first contact with Andrew to get a quote, which was very competitive to meeting Jonny and team who did build the Loft it was just a great experience. Everyone within TLC is so friendly and they all go the extra mile to make the building experience as good as possible. E.g. we needed to have an extra requirement to replace a supporting steel beam to be able to build the loft which TLC took and did a great job. Also, the speed they are doing the work is fantastic. So, all in all I would recommend TLC anytime.it is just a great company. And especially Andrew and Jonny been amazing. So, thanks again for the great experience and to handle our special requirements as well.

From the very first message I sent to Georgie to find out about the process for the first extension weve ever done, to meeting Connor when he came to talk through what we wanted to then having our extension built by James and his team, we have been very impressed with everyone who has been involved and trust between us was immediate. Connor set up a WhatsApp group for us and communication was top notch with responses made incredibly quickly. Ive been working from home during the extension and the respect all the builders have given to ensure that there is as minimal disruption as possible has been very much appreciated. The workmanship is of a high quality and we have been very happy with the process. There have been issues and unexpecteds, as there would be with any sort of building work, and Connor and James have always made sure to put our minds at rest that they are in control of the matter. The best thing that happened was TLC leaving a sign outside a house they were working on in a road near me and I made contact and I would highly recommend TLC to anyone who is after doing building work.
