M&S Simply Food

As an inpatient I have found the shop to be quite useful. May be slightly more expensive than normal, but can't beat it for convenience. Where else can you get fresh fruit, cooked chicken and lots of nibbles and cold drinks whilst you popped out of the ward in your pyjamas .

This is for the Cafe, sometimes the staff are friendly, sometimes not, depends who you get. Today and this has been the only time it's been offered, a young lad asked if I wanted my drink carried to the table. Today I only had 1 walking stick, but for the last 3 weeks when I have used this facility I was using 2 sticks and had no offer at all. The floor always looks like it needs cleaning, I think it gets done at the end of each day, but that's it. Also the tables don't look like they are cleaned during the day too. For what it is, it's expensive, but I suppose if your renting space from the Hospital you have to make your money back.

I went here solely to stock up on Percy Pigs. Other than that, it's a standard grocery store albeit slightly pricy.

Some( not all) of your staff are lack of customer service skills, not friendly, not welcoming. They seems to be behind the till as its punishment for them. Talking to each other while cashiering and not paying attention of customers in front of the till! They are at work but its seems they are on break. Sorry but I noticed that before as well! Not very friendly people working there, if they dont like their job I think its time to change it because they are face of M&S and they made it very low score. You need more professional people. Sorry but its fourth time I face this kind of behaviour. Not professional at all.
