I currently have 2 children at this school and 1 who has just left. We all love it. When my daughter first started they had no head teacher and were rated unsatisfactory by Ofsted in Sept 2011. A new head teacher was appointed and by the next inspection in Nov 2012 they were rated as good. This was due to lots of hard work by staff and pupils alike, they are now working towards outstanding which I have no doubt they will achieve. The school and grounds are well set out and there is a wide curriculum, which offers opportunities for the arts and sport as well as the usual subjects. There are many before and after school clubs. The children across the school mix well together and there are also lots of social activities such as disco's, picnic's and seasonal events organised by the Home School Association. Any issues with children's behaviour are dealt with robustly by staff. Good work, behaviour and attendance is rewarded. My children want to go to school every day and I believe this is due to the relationship between the staff, pupils and parents and the engaging teaching in every lesson.
