A beautiful place to visit at anytime of the year. Its great to escape the hustle & bustle thats happening not too far away. Either park at Mansbridge (drive through the White Swan car park & park on the old road, either side of the pub) or park at Bitterne Park & start your walk from Cobden Bridge. You can walk along the river & its tarmac so no mud, easy for wheelchairs, buggies & bikes. Cross the road at Woodmill & continue along the river, or you can stop for refreshments at the cafe on Woodmill. Its point to point so wherever you leave your car you have to return more or less the same way but not a bad thing.

Plenty of to do and football pitches. Children parks and skate park. Plenty of places to walk the dogs and feed swans and birds. Welcoming place. Lovely to take the kids .
