Having been exercise-averse all my life, I was apprehensive about starting Pilates. However, Hollie is such a skilled and patient teacher that I love Pilates now. She has carefully customised and demonstrated an exercise routine for me. As a result of following this, my creaky knees are stronger and stiff shoulders are much more flexible. In the Zoom sessions nowadays, Hollie observes everything I do carefully and motivates me to try that little bit harder. She is a lovely, cheerful, kind and inspiring teacher and I wholeheartedly recommend her.

Tao Pilates has completely changed the way I think about physical activity and my body. Id had a rocky relationship with exercise until Tao Pilates and that is all down to Hollie and her wonderful approach to teaching. Hollie is so passionate about what she does and this passion radiates to her students. She has taught me to appreciate my body for all of its achievements (no matter how small) rather than chastise it. As a result Ive achieved things I never imagined possibleI can do a push up! I enjoy working out and feel strong! The fact that Hollie tailors our classes to meet specific needs/aims means that for the first time in my life I have seen real improvements in my strength and flexibility. Both face-to-face sessions in Hollies lovely home studio and online sessions have worked really well. Id highly recommend Tao Pilates and Hollie!

Pilates is working for me! I am 68, have arthritic knees and a lifelong dislike of organised exercise.but I enjoy my one-to-one online sessions with Hollie. She chooses exercises that suit my needs and ability but that also make me work. I noticed real improvements in my knees after only a few weeks. Hollie is endlessly patient, kind and encouraging. I know that, as a qualified physiotherapist, her teaching is based on sound principles and so I have the confidence to trust her and follow her guidance.

Due to a chronic pain condition I have never found an exercise programme that I have been able to stick to. Pilates with Hollie has really changed my perception of exercise. Not only have I found Pilates a good form of exercise, its been helpful for my condition, and I enjoy every week. If someone had told me the benefits I would have from regular Pilates sessions, I would not have believed them. But I feel fitter, stronger, and more on top of my condition than ever before.
