I would recommend this store for my friends and family.

The equipment used to perform the eye checks (pressure test, etc. prior to seeing the Optician) were not cleaned between my checks and the lady after me. I therefore doubt they were cleaned before my checks were done. There used to be disposable strips of paper on the chin rests however, these were non existent (maybe due to not meeting Covid guidelines?).
The Optician was friendly and thorough however, he was running behind schedule but still took extra time to tell me about his weekend.
Helen (?) was lovely when discussing my prescription and lense options and wasn't pushy when I said I didn't want new frames as I'm very happy with my existing frames. I was honest and said I would not be buying any glasses from Boots. In the end I opted for reglazing with an online company who charged less than half the price of any high street Opticians.
I would recommend this Boots Opticians for how thorough and knowledgeable the Optometrist and staff are, but not for price or cleanliness.
