My father-in-law was living at St Johns for the past 2 years. Sadly he has passed away this week, and the care and compassion shown by all the staff has been truly incredible. As a nurse myself, I know what to look for in high quality care, and I cannot speak highly enough of how every single member of staff looked after myself, my partner, his mother, and most importantly his father. They dealt with his passing in a very dignified and respectful manner, and the staff went out of their way to do whatever they could to make him comfortable. We will forever be grateful for their support over the last few days.

My mother in law lived in St John's Nursing home more than an year. She got last stage of Parkinson disseise and past away some months ago. I can't express how thankful my missis and I are to the people working there. Managers Michel and Claire, Nurses, Carers and all supporting stuff were incredible and passionate of doing there job. Management is always traying to improve the things. They bought a new air mattress that has to be inflated in different sections, for the needs of my mother in law, because she couldn't move to much and it cost thousands pounds. Nurses and Carer stuff were very professional, polite, loving and caring, and dedicated in doing their job. The home is clean and tidy, the meal is very good. My mother in law really liked the place and people at St John's nursing home. Thank you very much for all you have done for Her!

My Grandma was at this home after a spell in hospital. Im sorry to say the home was quite dingy and depressing. The whole time we were we saw no activities. Just a constant beeping noise throughout the home of the call bells. the rooms are very basic and plain. the communal area was very uninviting and mostly empty. My grandmas care was questionable. i went in once and her air mattress had completely deflated - I had to tell someone. I felt the manager always just gave lip service and wasnt really interested in the residents as individuals. When she had passed, her belongings were simply thrown in bin bags and left in the lobby. We really felt that she was just a number.
