Went in for an oil change, took around 10 hours to complete (dropped the car off at opening time and only collected just before 8). When I was told I can come in and grab it I had to stand around for another hour and a bit. Requested a specific oil as per specialists recommendation, although I rang this garage twice during the day and spoke to them and have mentioned this prior to booking, they decided not to tell me that they are going to put whatever oil they wanted in the car until I came to collect it. Mechanic kept going on about how 'specialists don't know anything' which is hilarious because the word 'specialists' implies something contrary to that. Finally got the car back with oil stains all over the engine bay, not ideal. Originally I wasn't going to write a review and thought I'd just let it go, but after having the car serviced by a different (competent) mechanic due to a mysterious oil leak underneath the car, I was asked "which cowboy drained the oil last...as the threads have been stripped on the sump plug". Surely an oil change is a standard process that would be difficult to mess up, but this guy sure found a way! I'd rate it -5 stars if I could, absolutely regret taking my car here. Mechanic had a 'know it all' attitude, when in fact, he did not know much. The receptionist was lovely but the entire process was unorganised and an absolute waste of my time and money. Needed a clutch done last week. Returned faster and at better value than expected. Mechanic is sound and clearly knows his stuff
