Bit annoyed really at the service. After emails with the dealership to book a test drive and 3 phone calls today confirming that we are still coming, 1 hour before our test drive we get a call from George to say no cars at all are available to drive today (let alone the ones we had requested) George said we can still come and have a look but he said himself that is pointless (not a great attitude when were looking at buying a car for 60,000-70,000) We got the picture that the lads there today just werent one bit interested in having us there. Unfortunately this has put us off and we shall be taking our business elsewhere, looking at your Google reviews it doesnt look like the first time the service has let you guys down. So annoying when we have 3 children and arranging childcare and moving plans today especially for our test drive. Went to a local dealership instead and just put a deposit down and picking it up at the weekend, the local dealership stayed open an extra hour for us and couldnt do enough for us. Felt nice spending our money with the small company as well. (I have emailed the address that was sent to me, Im not sure what this will achieve)

Another favourable visit to Jaguar Land Rover, and they really looked after me. I had some major works to be undertaken and was presented with quite a list of advisories on the health check, but sensible advice was given as to when the advisories should be looked along with priorities. You half expect to be told everything needs doing straight away, but they were really open and honest and conscious of the costs which is really refreshing. Needed brake pads doing as well, and this could easily have become discs too (classic extra add on costs), but again the check came back that the discs were all good and didn't need replacing. In the current climate and 21st century, it really is satisfying and reassuring to receive such customer service. A big thanks to the team, especially Karla who was there throughout the booking.

Hendy takeover has created a cheap experience rather than the prestige one it should be. Major service on my Discovery was very disappointing - booking now done through central team who know nothing about Land Rovers, no loan car available, car not ready at end of day as agreed (no pre-warning, found out when I went to collect it) and ad blue not checked / filled as part of major service. Also, no follow up call to get feedback which was a nice touch previously. On the plus side, the host ladies are very friendly and attentive.

I travelled several hundred miles to purchase my Jaguar from Hendy's due to their professionalism & competitiveness. Their approach is second to none and this has remained the case post purchase. I cannot speak highly enough of everyone at Hendy Southampton and would recommend travelling the extra miles to benefit from their approach
