Lovely building, but that's where it ends. Rooms are dated and food limited and of a poor quality. 19 for a burger...with a stale bun! Breakfast was ok, but ingredients were so cheap. Having stayed in other hotels in the area it's a shame that this doesn't get anywhere close to them

Pleasant experience friendly welcoming staff. Beautiful grounds. Ideal photography gardens. Rooms: Budget friendly rooms simple and pleasant and comfortable. Suits are beautiful.

This was supposed to be a executive room for which I was charged extra as this the only one showing on site. It was a very basic standard room, smaller or same size as a budget Travelodge room. The room just about contained room for a bed and a squashed in table, with some old chipped desk from the 1980s. Even Travelodge provides a coffee machine and larger space, bigger TV etc when you pay a bit more - not necessities but if getting charged for them then where are they? Shame on this property for putting the word 'executive' in the description as an excuse for ripping the customer off. Well they got their extra little bit of money, but thats the last time I stay there so really a loss for them. A pity, nice surroundings and staff ok. Rooms: overpriced
