Built in 1793 this beautiful little bridge spans the tidal estuary of the River Test, and acting as the terminus of the Andover Canal. Today it is a bridge that leads to nowhere! Access can only be gained at one end while the other end terminates at the railway line. It has wonderful views across the Lower Test Nature Reserve and it is well worth a visit for that alone. Fishing off the bridge is the main activity and it seems to be a popular venue for it. There is a limited space for parking and there is the constant noise of the traffic going along the main bridge, but don't let that put you off from visiting this registered Ancient Monument!
