I would just like to say a huge thank you to this surgery. My father transferred here after extremely poor care at a previous surgery over a number of years. Not only has he felt that he has been listened to with a great deal more compassion but his health has actually improved dramatically as a result of changes to the management of his medical conditions. Im sure all surgeries have more difficult and stressful days to contend with and my father is very forgiving but after consistently poor care elsewhere he is finding this surgery to be a breath of fresh air. Weve had a really worrying time with him and couldnt be more relieved that he is finally receiving this fantastic standard of care here.

Good doctors surgery, easy to get appointments although most of the time sent to bitterne but nonetheless when I was at nicholstown surgery in st Mary's it would take weeks to get a appointment. Receptionists are very kind and deal with the huge workload they have in the mornings well

I've had doctors fob me off before and actually be quite rude and dismissive, but Dr Lewis is delightful. He listens, shows real compassion, and is generally a pleasure to deal with. The receptionist who booked my blood test was lovely as well. I just wish they'd get some sort of queuing system for their phones because trying to ring up in the morning for an appointment is a nightmare!

I'm happy with the doctors in the surgery but the last year it's just being harder and harder to get a proper appointment with a doc not on the phone or with paramedics. The main issue seems to be one of the receptionist as thinks she's a health professional and she deciding if you need medical help or no. Even with my two years old a few times when he wasn't well, kept arguing over the phone trying to convince me it's not their job to check him even though it's something we have to go through gp for. We're now calling only for urgent stuff, prefer to put up with our health issues just to avoid being treated like rubbish.
