Super corrupt and incompetent. Lazy, handout loving bureaucrats. Won't give me a larger bin for my nappies. Won't collect rubbish because I have too many nappies and bin is overflowing.

Response from environmental health department very poor Judging from the trail of reviews on this site and stories in local press Southampton city council needs a major shake up of environment and housing departments.Extremely poor management skills. Our health is being endangered by a neighbouring abandoned car used as dog and cat toilet. Trees so high in danger of crashing into homes. Been pointing this out for more than 10 years but environmental jhealth fails to act. A council officer has not even the courtesy to knock my door.

Can't fault them. Yesterday morning I discovered my recycle bins left on the pavement for collection were a melted residue with broken glass everywhere. I got an incident number from the Police, then rang the refuse department. The same day a man came to assess the damage, followed by 2 men to clear it up & cordon off the damaged tarmac & sunken glass. I woke up this morning to find a brand new recycle bin in my garden & am told the glass one is on order. Thank you.

The local government wants people to work but again forces people to stay off the roads! I do deliveries and there are no parking for delivery drivers to park while on delivery so were forced to park on a double yellow line or sometimes half on road and half on pavement. So we end up with a parking ticket! After showing the proof that we were on a delivery at that time, they wont cancel the ticket. This is very wrong. Delivery job is a very hard job and very stressful and on top they give us tickets. Were not waiting or just parking there to chill. We stop at a stop for maybe 10 minutes and on the windshield we have signs saying its a delivery vehicle but still the traffic wardens gives a ticket. Im asking the local government to give us a solution or do something about the ticket.
