Pink Door Cake Company

This quaint little cake shop is almost hidden but you can discover it in the alleyway next to the Southampton branch of Halifax in city centre. The interior is simple yet welcoming and I also loved the simple menu. The aesthetic of the place is really nice and a great place to grab some cake. There is not much space to sit and eat inside, so more suitable for a takeaway. The staff was friendly and was able to serve quickly as the place wasn't busy when we visited. The only reason I'm rating it a 4 star is because of the price. I felt the cupcakes were a little smaller compared to how much they were selling for. But perhaps it's justified given how everything is increasing in price. Nonetheless, the cakes were delicious and melted in the mouth. Will surely visit again.

Been to the shop twice, the cakes are lovely and the service is great :) Definitely recommend to anyone visiting Southampton Bonus points for the vegan cakes

Just off the main shopping precinct, a lovely relaxed coffee shop, I had a delicious caramel latte and a Biscoffe cup cake, sat outside in the sun, it was so delicious I ordered a selection of cupcakes to take home. The lady serving was pleasant and attentive. This is my second visit and Im so pleased to have found this hidden gem, happy to recommend
