1 Star food hygiene rating simply blamed on 'new staff'. Avoid this place if you can. Irrespective of staffing issues, you must uphold cleanliness and hygiene standards at all times or simply don't open. Whether staff were new or not, they should have been trained in hygiene and food safety as a first step! Stop lining your pockets with >1,000% markups and start thinking customer and safety. The 'mural' needs to go. It just infers sexism and silos all men into one dustbin, when the overwhelming majority of men would never assault a woman. It's especially inappropriate and offensive to the LGBTQ community.

Beautiful cafe, drinks really well made and very good value for money in comparison to typical chain coffee shops. They have more specialty drinks like matcha latte and Turmeric latte. Many dairy alternative options and vegan & gluten free food.

After a recent poor rating from the Southern Echos report of March, it is clear that I wont be returning to this place. Making excuses is not a reason for poor hygiene.
