        I took a day trip to Southampton on National Express. RT coach fare was 32. The bus departed on time and arrived early both ways. Busses were clean and seat belts worked. One bus had USB charging ports at the seats, nice. On the return journey, the Southampton station had a pleasant waiting room with a coffee vendor and a bathroom. National Express made for a good commute on my day trip to Southampton. I will definitely employ National Express again.

        Bus delayed an hour. No flexibility. Costs more than rail and the arrival time was 90 minutes late.
