We are still waiting for the remediation work to be started in my mum's kitchen.
Last Easter, after paying in full with her life savings, my 79 year old mum looked forward to her dream kitchen being installed and a worry free end to end service promised by Wickes.
The original installation was Septembe 2022. We contacted the complaints team due to many issues and the Regional Installation Manager visted in October, agreed the work was shoddy and produced a remediation plan. The splashbacks had been fitted over tiles and artex, worktops misaligned, leaky plumbing under sink, dirty water draining into washing machine, live electrics where sockets not fitted and much more!
After many calls and emails with CEO complaints team, new splashbacks and work tops were delivered 4 weeks ago and they are currently sitting in mums lounge with no sight of a date for the corrective action installers to be booked
Absolutely appalling service and issues still not resolved, and no proactive contact from Wickes Southampton or Wickes complaints team.
I would give 0 stars for quality of installation and customer service. No one held accountable.
