Update 10th March 2022. Renamed Below Bar, everything else remains the same including the owner.
Nice micropub with 3 real ales, the Crafty Brewing Best I had was in very good condition, plus it was happy hour so even better. Well worth a visit if you're in Southampton town centre although it doesn't open until 5pm most weekdays, the opening times on Google are correct.

It's in a great location not far from the historic red lion.
When visited two excellent cask beers & a good selection of other bar drinks ( my wife was impressed with her wine choice) both the casks tried & I can report both on fine form!
Both inside & outside seating it's well worth a visit!
Some confusion following a bar name change but as stated try & I do not think you will be disappointed.
