Andy came to my house to do a bit of maintenance on the outside of the chimney and to block up the gaps under the tiles where the starlings were getting into the loft. He also put right various defects with the gutters and tiles which he discovered here and there, including the ridge. Then he blocked up a hole in the outside wall of the upstairs bathroom (overlooked years earlier when the overflow outlet was moved). Then he nailed the aerial cable back in position down the side of the house. Then he went into the loft and (through considerable contortions and exertions) removed the starlings nests (this was where his chimney-sweeping vacuum came into play). Discovered and removed a dead starling (thoroughly dessicated, fortunately). Then finally (and through possibly even greater contortions and exertions) managed to break up and remove an ancient wasps nest from a particularly inaccessible corner of the loft. Andy is very knowledgeable, patient, polite and helpful and I dont hesitate in giving him a 5 star rating. Services: Chimney repair & restoration, Animal removal, Chimney inspections
