South Woodham Ferrers Post Office

They can't even get a simple proof of postage right in here, putting down my postcode instead of the recipient's. When I requested a new receipt i was told it's my fault for not double checking their work and expecting them to know how to do their job. Why would I even pay to send a parcel to my own road? The incompetence is bad enough but they're rude too.

Always helpful when I've used them, sometimes a bit of a queue but find me a post office that doesn't.

The man behind the counter in the post office was rude and disinterested, he also lied and told me it would be collected that day. The parcel I paid almost 50 to be sent urgently to USA via Parcelforce wasnt collected for 4 days and hasnt moved on in the next 6 days. Parcelforce have advised me that the post office staff shouldve told me that all timescales were currently suspended. They were only interested in taking my money at this awful post office.

Opening times fail to state that it does not apply to the post office. Poor service.

Struggled down to the post office today with two parcels.The website says open till 8 on a Saturday. I did the same a month ago but rang up first to make sure the post office was open on a Saturday and was told 8. Today it was closed. I can't drive as I've lost the use of my right hand. Not impressed. 3 mile round trip.
