Barclays Bank

My 85 year old mother recently visited this branch,she had an appointment, however she was told by staff she had no appointment, this was not the case. She was made to wait 30 mins before finally seen by a member of staff who humiliated her in front of a couple that had given up their appointment space so my mother could be seen, during the appointment the member of staff was far from friendly and helpful and was in my mothers opinion was rude and arrogant, my mother was upset by the experience. The appointment lasted less than 15 mins. My mother and late father have been with Barclays since the 1950's. So much for loyalty.!!

Always helpful staff. Sadly the only bank now left open in South Woodham Ferrers. Mondays can get very busy and you can expect to queue, sometimes out beyond the entrance door. Rumours are that it may also close. That would be a disaster. You can't speak to a machine or phone app... Use it or lose it!

Although barclays bank commited to spend 100bn on a slow reduction of their carbon footprint around the world, they have invested 104bn on fossil fuel burning commitments that will continue to cause massive damege to our planet and its inhabitants. This is not a complaint on barclays staff but more on high managment & investors who continue on a path of profit over the existence of life on our planet. The more people who know about their investments the more we can help them to change their destructive path to a constructive role across the planet.

What a joke on opening times closed more than open. Staff great but banking is terrible 12 people in front of me and over 1 hour waiting
