Living with Harmony - Enjoy Music Therapy

Walking through Winchester city centre last Sunday with my wife, I was attracted by the soothing harp music I could hear on the high street and the lovely lady harpist offered me the Music Mandala CD for free, when I jokingly complained of insomnia...I have since listened to the disc in my car and found it very calming in heavy traffic! Obviously, I have been making sure I would not fall asleep behind the wheel...

Southdown has been extremely fortunate to be involved with Meta and the Living with Harmony team. Although still relatively early in the process, the effects on our service users have been remarkable. We have even had our first training session, where other homes were invited to Southdown to see Living with Harmony first hand, and the response was wonderful! We are very much enjoying this journey and the wonderful energy that Living with Harmony bring to Southdown. Thank you very much for everything!

Blissful moments in an otherwise chaotic life Ive wandered up and down Winchester High Street many many times and it wasnt until one day I sat with a coffee outside of Cafe Nero to listen to Meta play that I realised the calm and often mesmerising affect the harp has on you. I too realised that a handful of other passers by had stopped to enjoy with me. Such a wonderful instrument and one that I feel has a massive part to play in everyday mindfulness practice. Thank you Meta.
