Been there to get diagnostics on my partner's car. His abs and brake light came on so the next day we took it to Bowbridge Garage as they had availability for the same day. Car diagnosed with a blocked DPF and no other major faults. Collected the car the next morning and been told the exact same thing by the girl working there. Took the keys and gave them to my partner and I drove off in our second car. When parter went to collect his car, one of the mechanics came outside and told my partner there is definitely something wrong with the brakes and something else needs replacing which will be very pricey. He then asked my partner if he's selling the car which was pretty weird. He told my partner to get the DPF unblocked and come back for further diagnostics on the brakes. We booked a mobile mechanic to come and check on the DPF plus to perform his independent diagnostics. He said there was 5 faults in the system which he fixed in less than 20 minutes. Turns out nothing wrong with the brakes, just the parking sensor needed a clean. And surprise, no blocked DPF! Car's fixed in an hour and that was including a half an hour drive done by the mechanic to make sure everything was running good. I'm only giving 2 stars for quick diagnostics- although incorrect- plus I didn't have to pay for it. Service: Vehicle Inspection
