Nether Burrows Farm

We had a lovely stay at the Farmhouse. It was the perfect space for our group. We had 10 adults staying at one point and the house accommodated everyone perfectly and comfortably. Vicki was also incredibly helpful and responsive if we had any queries, giving helpful instructions and being very accommodating with early and late checkouts. 4 stars given as we had a few issues with the shower in the family bathroom, which either ran boiling hot or freezing cold. For a stay of 1 week and 10 people we were also only given 3 dishwasher tablets and very minimal toilet roll, would have appreciated proper supply of the absolute basics given remoteness and cost of stay.

We thoroughly enjoyed our Christmas stay at Willow barn, some lovely touches including very thoughtful craft gifts for the children. The cottage was cosy but roomy at the same time, the living area was perfect for a big family gathering. Would just suggest a bigger fridge might be useful. We didnt make the most of the outdoor space due to the weather but the setting is a perfect location for long walks. The games room was a nice bonus for the kids.

Fabulous venue, perfect choice for our group of 14 (hen party) and good value. The location is very close to Derby city centre with great train links from the North and the South ideal when you have friends scattered all over the place! We stayed in Willow Barn which was perfect for our stay plenty of space, well furnished, great courtyard with countryside view - could not ask for more. The hot tub was a hit as well as the onsite football pitch and luckily we had great weather for both. Didnt have time to use the BBQ but would love to next time. Read the reviews about the road before visiting but had no issue fine to drive down just go slow. Big thanks to Vicki the bookings manager for helping organise the weekend and making this a stress free experience! Looking forward to visiting again for future events.
