Must have been a mistake on our order as we were waiting for about an hour between starter and main but the food was very good once it arrived.

Lovely food, usually incredibly busy. Sat in the bar this time and the guy behind the bar was great. Really good beer, service and food, despite the place being rammed.

THURSDAY So on holiday up in the peaks and went for a meal Thursday. Absolutely fantastic. Service was immense (guy who moved up from London 2 years ago, didn't catch his name), and absolutely fantastic food, couldn't fault a thing so booked in for the following evening on our last night. FRIDAY Sat down. Waited 45 minutes for someone to come and take our order, however in the end, we had to call somebody over and ask them to take our order and asked for another couple of drinks. The starters came straight out and we ate. Had to call a waitress over again after 30 mins to clear our table and ask for the drinks we ordered 30 mins ago. They apologise again. Mains came out and we finished then waited and waited again. Had to go to reception to ask for our table to be cleared again and asked for the bill We raised these issues only for the waitress to say "not to use this as an excuse but we are busy so its better to come on a weekday so we can give you a better service" Can't fault the food at all, but if you do, go make sure it's a weekday and NEVER A WEEKEND. Seemed to be a much better service in the restaurant section but if you are in the pub side, you seem to be forgotten about (unless it's a weekday) again thank you to the lovely waiter for making our night on the Thursday.
