Having had a 'drivetrain' fault code appear on my wife's mini, we visited a local garage and also a Mini main dealer to get it diagnosed - the fault was a new turbo at a cost of 3300! We then took it to Turners (having used them before for a BMW) and Barry was able to source a cheaper turbo part and provide a quote - putting me at ease, we booked it in with them. However, when Turners then undertook the repair, they realised it was only the actuator rod and not the turbo and repaired it for 800 in total! They could have gone ahead with the turbo anyway and charged us but they didn't. A very trustworthy garage, very knowledgeable, and would highly recommend to anyone. Thank you Barry! I took my MINI in recently to Turner Automotive for a service & MOT. It was my first visit and I have to say it was an absolute pleasure. Barry was great, really friendly and helpful and put me at ease immediately. He explained what they would do to the car and roughly how long it would take. It was one of those situations where you feel totally confident and that the garage want to look after your car as you would yourself. As promised my car was ready on time and to top it all the invoice was a pleasant surprise. Barry and his team definitely deserve their great reputation.
