        First time at Kuzey. What took us so long. Best Turkish restaurant in the North East. Manager is a fantastically nice guy, so hospitable and friendly. We had the falafel and hummus and the kisir, for starters, both were delicious, served with fresh bread. Then for mains we had the lamb ribs and the chicken Shish, both served with pilaf rice and very fresh salad, all fantastic. All washed down with draught Efes. This will become a regular night out. Thanks for a great night.

        Great place, amazing food, attentive staff. We have passed this restaurant so many times on a way to the beach and today decided to pop in and give it a go. I'm so happy we did, this might be my new favourite place, not only in South Shields
