Great spot and dog friendly. Unfortunately, like so many places today, food portions are ridiculously large. Aware of this, my daughter-in-law and I each ordered a child's meal, but even that was far too large, comprising a bucket load of fries and a rather dry burger! When will restaurants, pubs, and cafs start to offer manageable portions? No wonder there is an obesity problem in this country! In the future, we'll have to agree on one adult meal to share between four people; and that's not a compliment!!! Parking: Poor blue badge parking

Exceptionally disappointed with the food and drink. The only thing giving this restaurant a free pass is the beautiful and unique location. For a 10 club sandwich, the bread was stale, not toasted (as advertised it would be), and the filling was just a paste of meat and mayonnaise. The "side salad" was just a handful of unwashed leaves. For an overpriced sandwich it was utterly disappointing. The keg beer/lager was also just completely flat and overpriced. Overall, just a disappointment. Apparently, it was better in the past, but I can't attest to that. Don't bother ordering food here.
